Kororoit Creek Road Roadworks…

Maintenance works involving asphalt resurfacing and line marking work is currently underway on Kororoit Creek Road, Williamstown.

This week, Crews will work on sections of Kororoit Creek Road 7:00pm to 6:00am excluding Friday and Saturday nights, weather permitting.

Williamstown SC has contacted the contractor to advise that that we have hundreds of cars moving to and from JT Gray Reserve most nights of the week and will be heavily impacted by their road closures.

We have been assured by the contractor that our soccer community can still gain access to our car park and the traffic control team will be made aware to let drivers through when detours are in place.

What to expect during works:
▫️Road and lane closures on Kororoit Creek Road with detours in place
▫️Travel delays up to 25 minutes
▫️NO ON-STREET PARKING in the work area
▫️Reduced speeds in the work area to keep crews and road users safe
▫️Safety lights within the work area
▫️Traffic controllers will be on site to help road users travel around the work area safely.

Detour information:
Detours in place when lanes are closed on Ferguson Street and Kororoit Creek Road between Champion Road and Melbourne Road in Williamstown:
▫️Heavy vehicle detour via Melbourne Road and Victoria Street
▫️Local traffic detour via Station Road, Power Street, Verdon Street and Swanston Street

Detours in place when Kororoit Creek Road is closed between Techno Park Drive and Saltwater Drive in Williamstown:
▫️Heavy vehicle detour via Melbourne Road and Grieve Parade

Detours in place when Kororoit Creek Road is closed between Millers Road and Maddox Road in Williamstown:
▫️Heavy vehicle detour via Grieve Parade, West Gate Freeway and Melbourne Road

Please be aware that you will need to allow extra travel time to get to and from training until works have been completed.
